Mutant rats are becoming immune to poisons and are taking over major U.S. cities

New research sheds light on why pest control cannot seem to get a handle on the rodent population in some of America's major cities. And if you guessed it would be because rats are testing positive for DNA changes making them resistant to poison, you would be correct. And if you also guessed that the places in the country with the worst rodent infestations always seem to be in Democratic run places, you would also be correct. And while correlation does not always equal causation, there is a reason people have coined the term ‘demo-rat.’

Per LadBible:
Researchers have discovered that rats and mice have genetically mutated and may have become resistant to the commonly used poisons that help keep the growing number of them at bay.
According to last year's edition of the Top 50 Rattiest Cities list by pest control company Orkin, Los Angeles is the place that is worst off.
Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Hartford, Conn, Washington D.C, Detroit, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Denver made up the rest of the top 10.
Again, it should come as no surprise that the top most rat-infested places also happen to be run by Democrats.
A whopping 84% of the 147 mice and more than a third of the 143 rats involved in the study were found to carry at least one genetic mutation in the gene Vkorc1 that suggests they are now resistant to rodenticide.
While I am no pest control expert, is it really surprising that the places that allow homeless people to jeopardize public health also happen to have rat problems? Seems like cleaning up the streets might be a good start on getting control over these mutant rats, but clearly, the left is not in the business of fixing the problems they create. But what else is new?
