Massachusetts Governor Appoints Man to State Women's Commission

I don’t think anyone is surprised by this anymore, but you would assume that a commission focused on women’s issues would actually appoint a woman. Apparently not in 2025.
UNREAL. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D) appointed Giselle Byrd, a man pretending to be a woman, to the ‘Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women’ which advises on policy to improve opportunities for women.

"Nice wig, Janice. What is it made out of?"
Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey has appointed Giselle Byrd — a transgender woman — as the vice chair of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women’s Programming and Planning Committee. One could argue that positions on commissions dedicated to women’s issues should be held exclusively by individuals who are biologically female.
According to the Daily Signal:
Democrat Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey is drawing fire from conservatives for appointing Giselle Byrd, a biological male transgender activist, as the new vice chair of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women’s Programming and Planning Committee. The appointment became effective Nov. 1.
“Is this a Babylon Bee headline?” Massachusetts Family Institute wrote on Facebook last Wednesday, as the news sparked harsh criticism of the state’s decision. “No, in fact, this is the logical conclusion of feminism in Massachusetts society. Feminism suggests that women can do anything men can do. If this is true, then there is basically no difference between the sexes. If there [is] no distinction between male and female, then why can’t a woman become a man, or vice versa? If men and women are basically the same, then this man, Giselle Byrd, is perfectly justified in wearing the female form like a Halloween costume.”
This has got to be satire. Right? Right?!
Byrd, the executive director of the Theater Offensive in Boston and activist at several LGBT non-profits, was initially appointed in August.
If they’re going to appoint someone to anything related to ‘the Status of Women’s Programming and Planning,’ the bare minimum would be—call me crazy—actually being a woman. Obviously that’s no longer the status quo, as the left bends over backwards to appease the patriarchy in this fake pursuit of feminism.
If a man can be appointed as a woman, then what is even the point of planning around women’s programming? If there is no difference, then the entire commission should cease to exist. But again, that is not the reality we live in, clearly proven by the fact that these people don’t live in reality.
While you may think that this was the year society would finally jump on the biological bandwagon of affirming facts, we clearly have a lot of work to do. Nonetheless, this should be fully condemned, as the left continues to mock womanhood like it’s nothing more than a “Halloween costume.” Pathetic. Just pathetic.
