“People wonder why we want these executives dead:” Taylor Lorenz gives her most reprehensible take yet
Taylor Lorenz does not like the insurance industry, so much so she questions why “people wonder why" she wants insurance "executives dead." And the fact that this is the second worst take she’s had in less than one week speaks volumes to her character or lack thereof.
Taylor Lorenz is still celebrating the m*rder of UnitedHealthcare CEO.
He has a wife who lost her husband. He has children who just lost their father.

According to The Post Millennial:
Ex-Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz, in the aftermath of the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, criticized the healthcare industry, saying that it's a "broken system," and said that it was no "wonder why we want these executives dead."
I am sure there are plenty of scummy insurance executives in the world, but that does not mean they deserve to die.
In a post on Bluesky, Lorenz wrote in light of Thompson's death, "And people wonder why we want these executives dead," in response to Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance no longer covering anesthesia for the full duration of some surgical procedures.
One can acknowledge that they disagree with insurance policies without making such reprehensible statements. Especially, when the CEO of UnitedHealthcare was just murdered.
Lorenz then posted a picture of Blue Cross Blue Shield's CEO, Kim Keck, all after the murder of Thompson. In addition to the post about Keck, Lorenz then shared a post from another user on Bluesky that stated, "Hypothetically, would it be considered an actionable threat to start emailing other insurance CEOs a simple 'you're next'? completely unrelated to current events btw."
I don't know much about United Healthcare or Brian Thompson but I do know her comments are disgusting, especially when the family is barely grieving the news.
Later on, after getting significant backlash to her post, Lorenz appeared to justify what she said, adding, "People have very justified hatred toward insurance company CEOs because these executives are responsible for an unfathomable amount of death and suffering. As someone against death and suffering, I think it's good to call out this broken system and the ppl in power who enable it."
This comes after she claimed you were "raw-dogging" air for literally breathing the air.

It’s unclear why Taylor is painfully arrogant or why she believes she’s the authority figure for opinions on all things, but she could not be more pathetic if she tried. And the worst part is that she dishes out these statements but then cries victim the moment she gets what she deserves.
