At this point, it’s unclear whether people like Don Lemon are blatantly lying or are truly that ignorant when they claim ICE is targeting American citizens solely because of the color of their skin. Last time I checked, that wasn’t a thing. And the time before that, these were targeted deportations of individuals accused of crimes, for the most part. But none of that seems to matter to Lemon, who suddenly supports gun rights—just so long as they’re used to defend yourself against ICE.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think advocating to “defend” yourself against ICE with a gun is the most legal thing to do. I’m no legal expert, so take that with a grain of salt. Lemon, on the other hand, seems to think otherwise—he believes it’s unconstitutional for ICE to uphold the law, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

How do you get to the point where you’re so dishonest in your reporting—as Lemon is—that you end up advocating for whatever this even is? Again, it’s unclear whether he truly believes what he claims to believe—that’s for you to decide. But it’s pretty clear that when he says “Black and Brown people of all stripes,” he’s really talking about illegal aliens. Which is actually quite racist, considering being an illegal alien isn’t a race—but that’s neither here nor there.

According to Lemon, the Second Amendment is meant for illegal aliens to protect themselves against ICE, as he claims, “this is what the Second Amendment is for.” So, I double-checked—and it clearly says: “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

My question is this: how can you have a free state when criminal aliens are given free rein to enter as they wish? And I may be wrong, but I don’t think the Founders wrote the Second Amendment to grant foreign nationals the “right” to take up arms against law enforcement officers.

That being said, it is pretty comical that the only time Don supports these so-called “rights” is when it involves arming foreign nationals. Clearly, his goal is to instill fear in people—and that will never be morally justified.
