The new trend for the Academy Awards is a sea of black. Everyone wears the color to protest "sexual assault." Also, it matches nicely with their souls. Despite the #MeToo movement, Hollywood continues to wear its hypocrisy stickers. Going nicely with their #TimesUp stickers. With an "Up Yours" to America.

Former NBA player, Kobe Bryant, just won an Oscar for his short film. One 7' tall problem:

Nearly 15 years ago, the Los Angeles Lakers legend was accused of graphically raping a hotel employee at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera, which is in Colorado. He was soon charged with sexual assault and false imprisonment.

The charges were dropped shortly before trial was set to begin, and he issued a formal apology to his victim. Bryant was actually arrested and charged. That is incredibly rare for a sex crime considering the cases are so hard to prosecute.

Neither Weinstein or Spacey have been charged with any crime. They were simply booted with the pleather loafers of Hollywood. Here, we have a man who was arrested and charged with a sexual crime. A crime for which he said "Hey lady. Sorry for brutally raping you while you lay helpless under my 7' frame. My bad." Still, he was given a golden little man to roaring applause. #MeToo

Maybe the elites are letting Bryant off the hook because he apologized. Or maybe it's because he's an athlete. Such things are expected from kneeling machos. Throwing not-pleather balls. Or maybe it's because he's black, like the sea of dresses adorning "protesting" sexualized women. Even more likely, he just happens to know the right people. Warranting a special pass for his crime.

Hollywood is brimming with hypocritical elites. Like the champagne glasses of their lady friends. Brimming with roofies.

The Oscars sucked, but the Crowder party didn't. Steven and Not Gay Jared got drunk. Good times.
