Lefties all across the land are going off the deep end with their proposals to fix climate change. Once upon a time, their most extreme moves were recommending we carpool. Separate our recyclables. Limit our A/C use.

Now, kiddos are instead opting to sue the US government to put an end to energy production. Yes, really:

Legal experts are dismissing as a political “stunt” a new effort to prohibit the U.S. government from leasing out federal land and offshore areas to fossil fuel companies for oil, gas and coal extraction.

Twenty-one young people suing the U.S. government for supposedly contributing to global warming are asking the court system to block all forms of fossil fuel production moving forward. Lawyers are splashing cold water on the effort, dinging it for being a childish strategy.

Block all fossil fuel production?

“Now I’ve seen everything! Demanding that a federal court enjoin energy production across the nation is a stunt, not a serious litigation strategy,” Andrew Grossman, a lawyer with BakerHostelter, told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Such a move would also have a disastrous effect on the economy, Milloy added.

See, this is why we don't let kids make big decisions.

That move would crush the economy like Michael Moore's blubber-butt to a La-Z-Boy. Not to mention send 'Murica back to 1850. I'll guarantee you this would only last until the batteries die on those youngsters' iPhones. Methinks once they realize energy = electricity, they'll be calling for a different strategy.

These sue-happy kiddos don't know what they're talking about. Though, the adults on the left aren't much better. They think we can put the kibosh on air travel and cow farts and there won't be consequences. Somebody needs to get these kiddies an economics lesson, asap.
