Kathy Hochul's pathetic excuse for Zohran Mamdani's vile anti-cop attacks needs to be marveled at and studied

While The Zohran was getting married in a Uganada compound surrounded by armed guards paid for by his uber-wealthy parents, a gunman killed a police officer and others in the city he his looking to be mayor of. The Zohran said he felt bad for the NYPD, but like most Democrats, particularly NYC Democrats, he has a back catalog of vile, anti-cop rhetoric. Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul was challenged on it, and she answered stupidly.
Well, she wasn't challenged on it as much as she was asked to respond to Rep. Elise Stefanik, her probable 2026 opponent, pointing out how much The Zoharan hates cops. Hochul called the attacks pathetic because he only made those comments in 2020 when everyone in her party were virtue signalling about how much they hated cops.
Seriously. That was her excuse.
"That's about as pathetic as it gets. I mean, seriously, going after an unelected official who said something back in 2020 when many people were—I mean, come on, give me a break."
ÂYes. It's pathetic to hold elected officials responsible for the words that come out of their mouth.
 Â
Something else happened in 2020. The Zohran was elected by New York Democrats to the Assembly. The same New York Democrats who elected Kathy Hochul Lt. Governor.
To recap some of The Zohran's anti-NYPD rhetoric as he looks to become the mayor of the city that would be in charge of the NYPD:
ÂInstead of focusing on The Zohran anti-NYPD hate before him being elected mayor of New York City, Hochul said the focus should be on "assault" weapons that are already banned in New York City. Which, until Democrats start to be intellectually honest about wanting to ban all guns -- except for the ones used to guard The Zohran's Ugundan Compound -- it's not worth the bandwidth every time they put the word "assault" in front of a weapon to make it sound scary.
Democrats are more unpopular than they've ever been, and a key reason why if because of how far they've gone to the insane left. Kathy Hochul's soultion to that is to pretend the internet isn't forever.
