Jen Psaki may be keeping her promise of telling the American people the truth. It might be completely unintentional, but still. Better than straight-up lies.

On MSNBC's "Morning Joe" today, Psaki accidentally took a jab at President Joe Biden. It's not totally clear whether the jab was intentional or not since she was seemingly trying to defend him. But it was so clearly not a flattering statement, and it's hard to see how she could have been oblivious to that. Either way, it was hilarious.

Psaki claimed that an "early" morning meeting proves how serious Biden is taking the current banking crisis: "It's important to note, President Biden does nothing at 9:00 a.m. He is a night owl. So the fact that he is doing this at 9:00 a.m. anyway speaks to how vital the White House recognizes it is for him to have his voice out there."

The President...does nothing...at 9 AM. Not even, "he likes a slow start". Nope. He is literally in a vegetative state. At least until his aides revive him.

So that should be pretty convincing, coming from the former Press Secretary, right? He stays up all night and sleeps in. Except... not really.

A 2021 report on Biden's routine was published in CNN. And that report claimed literally the exact opposite: "Inside the New President's Routine: Oval Office Fires and Early Bedtimes".

"Unlike his most recent predecessors – night owls who spent the dark hours reading briefing materials (President Barack Obama) or watching television (President Donald Trump) – Biden is more of an early-to-bed type."

So he's an early-to-bed, late-to-rise, call a lid at 1:30 PM kind of President. Why am I not surprised.

In any sane country, it would be highly concerning if the leader seemed to be doing literally nothing at any given moment in time. But, as we all know, Biden is not really running the country. If he was, we would've mobilized trunalimunumaprzure by now. Then we'd be cookin' with gas.
