Texas is known for many things. Brisket. Red Dirt Country. H1-B Visas. But who knew that Texas is also a leader in the drag queen industry, boasting about having among the best drag queens in all of the United States of the Americas? That's what I've learned from this latest James Talarico flashback. Which, hey, it could be worse for Texas Democrats hoping Talarico was their ticket to win back white men. They could be the Maine Democrats.

It was 2023, and the Texas legislature was debating a bill banning "sexually oriented performances" on public property and in the presence of minors. Talarico, who has never met a trans minor that didn't give him the warm fuzzies, opposed the bill and voted "present."

Then he gave his reasoning why (via Fox News)...

"I think Texas is obviously the best state in the nation, and I think we produce some of the best drag queens in the nation. And I didn’t want any legislation to target them or hurt that industry."

I knew Texas had the best little whore house. Who coulda thunk they also had the best queens?

It still cracks me up how the left decided drag queens were the literal only way to prove how tolerant you are. The more conservatives say something is inappropriate, the more the Democrat Party makes it a part of their very being.

There have always been drag shows. Adult men would dress up like women, give themselves a double entendre for a name, tell some raunchy jokes and entertain ADULTS in bars. If that's your thing, fine.

Then minors would dress up like women and entertain adults in bars. Conservatives said, "hey, this seems inappropriate."

The left doubled down with "Drag Queen Story Time." Conservatives said, "guys, let's leave children alone because this is wrong."

Then, during peak woke, if you DIDN'T support all drag queens all the time in every elementary school, you hated every single one of the Ls, Gs, Bs, especially the Ts, Qs, and whatever the hell the +s are.

The People Who Controlled Joe Biden Administration even exported drag queens to teach the third world about tolerance in 2022. Using your tax dollars, naturally.

One year later, James Talafreako went all in supporting the Lone Star State's bustling drag queen industry. Well, not "all in." He only voted present.

I'm guessing this is one of his past "cringe" statements that he claims (without evidence) he would take back if he could. It seems to be everything he said prior to beating Jasmine Crockett in the Texas Senate primary.
