Last year saw a lot of terrorism, mostly in super duper “tolerant” countries (see GERMANY: Merkel Confirms Berlin Attack is “Terrorism.” Attacker Still at Large… and Horrific Terrorist Attack in Nice, France. Cowardly Media Calls it ‘Truck Attack’). Naturally, Saturday night, 2016 went out with a bang. A lot of bangs. Turns out while you were celebrating the New Year, a not-Mormon terrorist shot up a nightclub in Istanbul…

The ISIS-affiliated Aamaq News Agency reported that the shooter was a “heroic soldier of the caliphate who attacked the most famous nightclub where Christians were celebrating their pagan feast.” They claim further that the as-of-yet unnamed shooter was acting on the orders of their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Turkey, the Islamist terrorist group complains, is a “servant of the cross.” As an ally of the United States, Turkey has been involved in anti-ISIS military operations.
Of course, it didn’t take long for ISIS to claim responsibility for the attack. Raise your hand if you’re surprised. Anyone…?
Zero parts shocking, I know. Islamists celebrated this New Year much the same as they did last year – with a crapload of violence. Needless to say, this isn’t the first time the Religion of Peace ruined New Year’s Eve (see SURPRISE: New Year’s Cancelled in Brussels Because… Islamic Extremism).
A key detail here is that Christians were specifically targeted. Again, no plot twists here (read NEW DATA: Christians The Most Violently Persecuted Religion on Earth…). The ironic part of all this? The left prides itself for standing up for Muslims against “Islamophobia.” You know, sticking up for the little, bomb-vested guy. Or something. Meanwhile, Christians are repeatedly targeted… By those same Muslims. Still, we hear nary a peep from liberals regarding these things…
By the way, this attack comes just a week after the Obama Administration basically chastised Israel for “terrorizing” Palestinians (see John Kerry Actually Says “Israel can be Jewish OR Democratic. It cannot be both”). There was a lot of squawking on the matter. But when it comes to actual terrorism like this? Meh. Sweep it under the prayer mat.
Can’t wait to see how the media spins this one…
