No, this is not satire. But, I think this man handled those officers rather perfectly, don’t you?

Enoch Burke is an Irish teacher who refused to “call a boy a girl.” According to his father, “he was commanded.” Too bad for Irish authorities, but this teacher does not take orders when he is asked to lie to a student’s face. The left calls that compassion, while the other side does not believe it’s compassionate to affirm falsehood. Nonetheless, the police came to his house to arrest him over this dire offense.

According to MSN:

Gardaí were last night looking for teacher Enoch Burke after failing to find him at the family home.

A female family member filmed three gardaí arriving at the house in Co. Mayo to arrest him yesterday. She immediately remonstrated with them and maintained that Mr Burke was not allowed his constitutional rights.

He remains wanted after a judge ruled on Tuesday that he be jailed immediately for repeatedly breaching a court order. Security sources told Extra.ie that Mr Burke has not been seen or heard from since Tuesday morning.

While I would never condone breaching a court order, I won’t hesitate to say that this had to be done.

Is this really the hill officials want to die on? Is not calling someone “they” truly a criminal matter? My goodness. This is what every dystopian novel warned us about, but it’s still horrifying nonsense.

Mr Burke has previously been sent to prison for contempt of court over the legal dispute with the board of management of the school, stemming from incidents over a request in 2022 from the school’s then-principal to address a student by a new name and pronoun.

However, in his judgment on Tuesday, Judge Brian Cregan said fines and security measures have not deterred Mr Burke from trespassing at Wilson’s Hospital School, where he used to teach.

He ordered that the teacher be arrested immediately and committed to prison until his contempt is purged.

It's incredible how much Western countries are being attacked by the left's war on culture. We are now at the point where teachers are being imprisoned for not jumping on the trans bandwagon. It truly is horrifying and has no place in civil society.

More often than not, when something is based in universal truths, you don’t have to arrest people to affirm it. How is this even a police matter? It's a civil issue with the school, at best. But according to Irish authorities, there is no person more worthy of jail time than this innocent teacher. Incredible, yet truly tragic.
