According to actress Cheryl Hines, the Republicans have been very kind from the beginning of RFK’s campaign. Unsurprisingly, the same cannot be said for the Democrats.

Hines and Bill Maher discussed how the Democratic Party has become increasingly “mean” over the years on Monday, which Maher recalls has not always been the case.

According to the Daily Caller:

“The Republicans have been very kind to me from the beginning. Even from the beginning, when Bobby was running as a Democrat, they weren’t mean,” Hines said. “And they never have been. And I can’t say that for the Democrats.”

That’s because that is the only way modern Dems know how to play the political game. They can't win on kindness or fairness, as their entire movement is based on despising those who dare to disagree with them. According to the left, if you are not all in it for open borders and putting the American people last, you are a Nazi who deserves to be mocked into oblivion.

The only problem with this is that these are the same people who claim to be on the compassionate side of the political aisle. But, ultimately, for them, actions speak louder than words, and in this case, both speak volumes. So, while they can lie and say they are the ones who care about human dignity, they are becoming more unpopular by the day. That is because in the political pursuit to bash the people they pretend to represent, they are fooling no one. Americans see right through this, and the sooner they realize that, the better off everyone will be.

“I agree. And it’s sad because it’s not the Democrats we grew up with. And that’s the difference that people don’t, I think, see. They’re like, ‘Why did you turn on the Democrats?’ Well, first of all, I didn’t. Like I said, we voted for the same person,” Maher replied. “But I’m not going to pretend I don’t notice how different they are. How mean they’ve become.”

To call these Dems anything remotely close to classical liberals would be a lie. They can’t win in the marketplace of ideas, and the best they can do is put their opponents down. It’s either that or debate their agenda, but they can’t because if they were honest about it, they would be so irrelevant that this article would not exist.

Hines added that she believes Democrats have become “very mean.”

Maher attacked the left on “Real Time with Bill Maher” in September 2024 for treating Hines like an enemy for not denouncing her husband — despite making clear her disagreements with Kennedy.

If you are surprised by this, you are not paying attention. Opening borders for fake compassion is not nice to the American people. Calling those whom they disagree with ‘Nazis’ is not nice. And censoring Americans in the political pursuit of fake Democracy is also not nice. And to call them mean would be an understatement.
