Even if the fake news media must dedicate its reporting to making sure no human is illegal, why must they do so in the pursuit to protect those who have committed drug trafficking and assault? That is something they will always ignore, as their intent is to mislead and gaslight you to get you to second guess your stance on federal immigration law.
I was at this operation with Noem. It wasn’t targeting a “pregnant mother”, it was targeting her previously deported illegal alien Mexican husband who had been convicted of drug trafficking in February & had an attempted murder charge pleaded down to an assault conviction. Here is how this fake news story went down.
The media presented this headline for you “DHS Secretary Kristi Noem attends ICE raid at home of pregnant L.A. County mother.” This was CLEARLY intended so you thought they went after an innocent pregnant woman. But that is not what happened. And their reporting was so misleading that not only did Homeland Security have to respond, they were forced to update their story to include the fact that not only was it her husband that was targeted, but he had a criminal record.
FAKE NEWS. At this house was an illegal alien from Mexico who had previously been deported. His criminal history includes drug trafficking and assault.
ICE had a warrant for his arrest. https://t.co/YtVtNhjoqE

Now, while we could give them props for editing the article, the damage has already been done. Many people have already seen the former headline and have run with it, which may or may not have been the outlet's intent all along.
The raid occurred Thursday morning when about a half-dozen vehicles carrying heavily armed, masked U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents converged on a home occupied by a 28-year-old pregnant mother of four.
After hearing about the raid, L.A. County Supervisor Janice Hahn went to the Huntington Park neighborhood and spoke with some of Medina’s neighbors.
Four months pregnant with her fifth child, the Huntington Park mother said if her husband is deported, the family’s future is bleak.
They later edited the article.
DHS later posted on X that the target of the raid was “an illegal alien from Mexico who had previously been deported. His criminal history includes drug trafficking and assault.”
So, in other words, their intent was to tug on your emotions, as they failed to do the least bit of due diligence to make sure they aren't defending scummy people. And what makes it even worse is that a county supervisor did the exact same thing.
This is why the media has become largely irrelevant and it’s totally naive that outlets assume all illegal immigrants are victims, while they hold onto the myth that it’s impossible to commit crimes post facto.
