James Talarico claims he "regrets" his "cringe" comments about God being a non-binary vegan with six genders

Texas state Rep. and Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico responded to GOP attacks over his past remark that God is “non-binary,” telling @edokeefe that some of his previous comments “missed the mark.”

The 2026 midterms are about Democrats pretending that 2020 through 2025 never happened. And, when presented with some of the batsh*t crazy things they believe, they claim that was then, and this is now. If they had it all over to do again, they wouldn't have said that God is non-binary or that there are six genders. Or, at least, they wouldn't have said so out loud. That's where we're at in James Talarico.
Now that the Texas US Senate primary has transitioned into the general election, Talarico rushed to CBS News to say that all those crazy things he believes are taken out of context. And that, quote, "There are some statements that I’ve made that I certainly regret."
Statements that he's made in previous years. No word on whether he regrets what he said in 2026, prior to Tuesday, before he now needs to convince Texas voters he's a "moderate."

When reached for comment, democrat media consultant Guy Fakerton (they/them) had this to say about his party's new messaging.

Hey, at least Talarico didn't get an accidental Nazi tattoo. Amirite?
Keep in mind, these are just the clips of Talafreako that have found their way to Cousin Elon's internet as we speak. New ones are constantly being added to circulation.

The streets are saying Jasmine Crockett had a treasure trove of oppo she was sitting on, but was warned against releasing it if she ever wanted a future in Democrat party politics. The GOP's oppo team has no such concerns. I believe the technical term is drip, drip, drip, drip...
Just keep an eye on the media. Prior to today, it was standard practice to hold elected officials to the words (and policies) that came out of their mouths as elected officials. The new standard attempting to be pushed by Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) is that only what they campaigned on this week matters. It's not until after they get elected that you can admit that they were who we always said they were.
See Zohran, The for an example.
