According to Jasmine Crockett, she would never want to “upset Latinos.” She said this because she implies the majority of people who have broken federal immigration laws are of a certain race and ethnicity. Or, in other words, she correlates illegal immigration with the Hispanic community, which proves just how racist she truly is. Nonetheless, that was not even the worst thing she said.

Crockett, who claimed to “know history,” in the same breath, said ICE is akin to when “slave patrols were going out and dragging and disappearing people based on color.”

There are so many things wrong with what she said.

Firstly, can we please make it a requirement that members of Congress speak with proper grammar? It’s insanely annoying when people dumb down language, and it proves just how little she thinks of Americans. Well, to be fair, she could really be that stupid.

Secondly, ICE is not targeting any race. That is not how these things work. But you already knew that. However, this is more proof that you didn't need to prove just how racist the left is. They don't see illegal immigrants as people; they see them as a certain skin color. The left could not be more naive and racist if they tried.

Thirdly, it’s unclear if she thought this would win over votes from the Hispanic community, but I assure you, it will not.

Lastly, she forgot that the term is now “Latinx.” Could she get any more bigoted than that? Does she realize some Hispanics are nonbinary? Does she know how many people are likely offended by that term?

Jokes aside, for the millionth time, an illegal immigrant is not a race, and the sooner she realizes that, the less racist she will be. Until then, we shall wait for her next ignorant comment to give us another lesson on “history. “
