Blue state passes radical new law outlawing "deadnaming" of trans people
Someone should really inform lawmakers that, despite how someone claims to feel deep down inside, compelled speech will always be unconstitutional. However, progressives don’t tend to really care about this thing called freedom of thought and have decided they know best, even when they mandate you speak lies.
In other words: "The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it."
To be a Colorado Democrat, you must proclaim full allegiance to the state-sanctioned religion of Colorado: gender ideology.

According to Colorado Newsline:
House Bill 25-1312, dubbed the Kelly Loving Act in honor of a transgender woman killed during the 2022 Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs, would make it a discriminatory act to intentionally not refer to a transgender person by their chosen name. It also requires school policies be “inclusive of all reasons” that a student changes their name, and it says schools must allow students to choose from any variation contained in dress code policies.
What does “inclusive of all reasons” even mean? And since when can minors decide these sorts of things? Because what if it’s against the wishes of the parents? Is that much of a concern to lawmakers?
The bill includes a provision that says someone does not need a court order if they want to change their gender marker on a driver’s license or other identification a second or third time. Colorado allows an “X” gender marker on state IDs, but that has led to some people having trouble with student loans and passport applications, so some people may want to change their gender markers back. It will also allow a county clerk to issue a new marriage license to someone who has legally changed their name.
There was a section in the bill that would have “instructed courts to ‘consider deadnaming, misgendering, or threatening to publish material related to an individual’s gender-affirming health-care services as types of coercive control,’ when the courts were ‘making child custody decisions and determining the best interests of a child for purposes of parenting time, a court shall,’” according to Advocate. However, given how blatantly deranged and reprehensible that section would have been, this was removed. Nonetheless, the state is still one step closer to making that a thing, should they wish to do so in the future. And we know they will try because they always do. They never stop with one bill, as you can never be progressive enough with these people when the goal post changes by the day.
That said, the State of Colorado has many problems, but deadnaming isn't one. This is why it would have been nice if state lawmakers had done something a little more productive with their time, but that’s not what progressives do. These people are intent on radically changing cultural norms, at the expense of being morally and logically correct, all in favor of being politically correct. Not only is that not their job, but that is something that will never be morally superior. And the fact that these people call this a form of compassion is comical, yet deeply pathetic,
