CNN's Brian Stelter: We Keep Talking About Russia Because... Journalists Love America?
One of the reasons the #FAKENEWS label has stuck so much is because of how many media personalities/journalists are sanctimonious douche burritos with a side of guacamole. One of their coven leaders is CNN's Brian Stelter, who seems to be losing his addled mind over all this Russia allegation business. Here's the latest example:
“Russia is a big story because journalists love America, and America was attacked last year.”
Ok, two things. Actually, three. The first is Holy Get Over Yourself, Batman!
Second, This is CNN. If Russia were as major a story as they insist it is, CNN wouldn't have posted so much ACTUAL fake news. And also claimed there was nothing to it (see BUSTED: Project Veritas Catches Van Jones Admitting Trump-Russia Story is a ‘Nothing Burger’ and KARMA: 3 CNN Employees Forced to Resign After Pushing Trump-Russia Fake News).
The third thing? It's what many on the left are starting to realize. After hyping up Congressional Hearings so much that people were having watch parties because Donald Trump was "literally going to be impeached in front of their very eyes!!!" -- everything else has taken a back seat. Even important news developments.

Russia isn't a big story because journalists love America. It's a big story because it gets ratings. Which is the only principle that guides cable news. For the left, this Russia narrative has taken priority over everything else. They continue to expend resources, time, and coverage on their collusion fantasy whilst putting other relevant stories on the back burner. Yes, journalists love America so much they'll lie and manipulate her to further their own silly agenda.
So to recap, Russia is a big story because journalists love ratings. Glad we could clear that up.
Good talk, CNN.
