Gavin Newsom, Who's "NOT Running," Hangs Out With Chinese President To Discuss Climate Change, Human Rights, Fentanyl
If you remember, California was not only the first state to lock up its citizens and destroy livelihoods but also had some of the strictest restrictions. While neighboring states were becoming more and more free, California was not.
One of the restrictions was a statewide mask mandate. This was believed to fight the invisible enemy called COVID-19. You know, the virus that came from *Trump voice* CHINAAAHHH.
So because China released COVID into the world, Californians had to mask up. Coincidentally, it was no other than China itself that benefited from California’s COVID mask mandate with a no-bid $1 billion N-95 mask deal.
Again, these are just coincidences. Okay?
That said, we all know that Newsom is easily frightened by invisible things he deems as the enemy. This includes things like the afromention China virus, climate change, and institutional racism. If you ask him, these things are inherently evil and we should all revolve our lives around them.
This is what we shall call an “invisible evil.” You can't see it or know where it is coming from. You also can’t touch it. But those things don’t matter because of “science?” Maybe it was racism. Could have also been the patriarchy. Not sure. Actually, it could have been about trans rights.
Anyway, Democrats tend to lack a lot of self-awareness. This is probably why Newsom decided to head over to China to kiss up to his boss. Some may know him as Pooh Bear, while others may know him by his other alias, President Xi Jinping.
In case you were wondering, he definitely thinks it's a good idea to engage in foreign affairs as a governor.
First, the meeting started off with the two communist leaders discussing how to control the weather and deciding if they wanted more rain or more snow this winter.
"Throughout his meetings, Governor Newsom discussed how California and China can continue working together to advance climate action, promote economic development and tourism, and strengthen cultural ties. The Governor reiterated California’s commitment to serving as a reliable partner on the climate crisis, and how critical China remains in the world’s efforts to reduce pollution," the press release reads.
What better place to discuss Climate Change than China, the world's biggest emitter of carbon dioxide?
It’s probably very safe to assume he took a plane (probably a private jet) all the way to China when this could have been an email. I am not too sure how flying across the world will definitely “tackle climate change.” But whatever.
Does Newsom really want us to think he can control the direction the wind blows when Sacramento has turned into tent city?
And do you think since Newsom banned gas cars, China will stop building so many coal plants? Probably, right?
Also, I’m pretty sure it's just a total coincidence that China is the world's top battery maker for electric vehicles. It’s not weird that the main benefit of this policy is China, right?
"Governor Newsom met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and other high-level Chinese officials to discuss climate action, economic development, cultural exchange, human rights concerns, and democracy," a press release states.
What better place to talk about human rights than China, where the government engages in coercive population control methods, forced labor, arbitrary internment camps, torture, mass surveillance, family separation, and repression of religious expression?
"The Governor also discussed the high-priority issue of the fentanyl crisis," the press release states.
What better place to discuss fentanyl than China, when 99 percent of the fentanyl is coming from precursor drugs from over there?
“The president was rather explicit about the desire to be even more specific in terms of what is needed, in terms of calling out and identifying where these chemicals are going,” Newsom told reporters after the meeting.
And what are those details may I ask?
Something tells me China could care less if Americans are getting hooked on Fentanyl. But that’s just a gut feeling.
Pretty weird how Newsom’s policies that tend to hurt Americans seem to somehow always help China. But anything for Climate Change, right?
