CBS Takes Action Against Alleged Pervert Charlie Rose…
Another day, another accusation. Last night it was Charlie Rose. Eight women came forward claiming they fell victim to the unwanted perviness of the decrepit prune. No young thighs were safe from his wrinkled clutches. Suddenly and without warning, the news blew up like post-2005 Val Kilmer. After a few All You Can Eats.
Now the fit has hit the shan. CBS is scrambling to cover their cakes.
CBS said Tuesday that it fired Charlie Rose following an extensive Washington Post report that detailed alleged unwanted sexual advances toward women by the 75-year-old broadcaster.
His firing was announced by CBS News President David Rhodes, who wrote in a midday memo to the network's staff that it was "effective immediately."
"Despite Charlie's important journalistic contribution to our news division, there is absolutely nothing more important, in this or any organization, than ensuring a safe, professional workplace - a supportive environment where people feel they can do their best work," Rhodes wrote. "We need to be such a place."
In other words? Be gone, thee sexual deviant! Get those gyrating, prosthetic hips out of here.
And that's it, folks. CBS hardly had to sleep on it. There was no "let us wait and see," or "give it a week to blow over." Your eyebrow might have raised when you pondered why it took so long for CBS to take action on Charlie's grossness... But at least they didn't pull an SNL (see SNL Women Stand By Their Man, Accused Groper Al Franken). Credit where due.
In searching for rape culture, the left has "accidentally" exposed themselves. Like an unwanted Louis CK in a makeup trailer. Now, as we're seeing, the best thing the left (and the media) can do is distance themselves from these deviants as quickly as possible. Deviants which keep popping up amongst them. Like an outbreak of bulbous sexual tumors.
The purge has been gloriously eventful.
