More coerced propaganda is coming to California public schools as the State legislature passed a law that would prohibit public schools from banning any textbooks on race-related and LGBT curriculum on Thursday as progressives retain the cultural and ideological territory it has conquered in the state.

In what was once known as the “Land of Dreams,” California is now controlled by communists as it relies on propaganda to achieve its radical ends.

Governor Gavin Newsom helped craft the legislation after a conservative Temecula school board struck down a lesson when parents complained that some of the content was too sexualized for elementary students. Specifically, about Harvey Milk, a known pedophile whose claim to fame was being the first openly gay man to be elected to office in California. The lesson also mentioned the Gay Liberation Front, which parents connected to NAMBLA, a advocacy group that is known for promoting pedophilia.

"We’re going to purchase the book for these students—the same one that hundreds of thousands of kids are already using," Newsom said in a statement in July. "If these extremist school board members won’t do their job, we will — and fine them for their incompetence."

The school board has since reversed course and approved the social studies curriculum after Newsom threatened a $1.5 million fine.

“California is the true freedom state: a place where families — not political fanatics — have the freedom to decide what’s right for them,” Newsom said in a statement Thursday. “All students deserve the freedom to read and learn about the truth, the world and themselves.”

Is that why school districts no longer have the “freedom to decide what’s right for them?”

It is comical how Newsom wants you to believe that California “is the true freedom state” when it ranks 48th in freedom.

Newsom made good on his promise to fine local school districts, as those that fail to comply with the new law would face a decrease in funds through changes in funding formulas, according to The LA Times.

“This bill is government blackmail to our locals,” Republican Assemblymember Devon Mathis said.

Democratic Assembly Member Corey Jackson said that this legislation is meant to protect children from 'discrimination,’ and that it “has nothing to do with local control.”

“It will ensure that California pushes back against the disgusting practice of engaging in culture wars and stepping on the backs of vulnerable populations for political gains,” Jackson said.

Progressives know that their woke ideology can’t hold up to scrutiny. That is why they need to force them into educational institutions as they attempt to brainwash the masses in their efforts to rewrite history so that it is aligned to their dynamic sensitivities of the regime.

California may be a blue state, but its communistic tactics make it bleed red.
