GOOD HUMOR: Caitlyn Jenner Jokes About Ricky Gervais's 'Transphobic' Gags.

Brodigan
January 15, 2016

I find Bruce Caitlyn Jenner's humorphobic attack on Ricky Gervais to be problematic. It's triggering. Highly triggering.

We've already talked about the Golden Globes and how Ricky Gervais made a minor joke about Jenner in a monologue that included him making jokes about everyone. You know, like every award show monologue since the beginning of award show monologues. Leftists cried "TRANSPHOBIA" just because putting -phobia after a noun is their go to reaction. See also "homophobia," "Islamophobia," and "xenophobia." I firmly believe that said SJW's have a "reality phobia"

Now Bruce Caitlyn is doing the same...

Jenner stayed silent as the backlash erupted until she was asked for her reaction during a press conference on Thursday and responded with a joke of her own. “On Ricky, I think what I’m gonna do [is] call the Golden Globes and see if they need a new host for next year,” Jenner was quoted by Entertainment Weekly as saying. “And we’ll solve that problem.”

Wait...that wasn't a vicious attack or a humorphobic joke at all. It was almost as if s/he shrugged it off and made a joke of his/her own? You know, like you're supposed to do when someone makes a joke about you. Or at least, when read, it certainly seems like a joke. Jenner hosting the Golden Globes? LOL. What would his monologue be? Can he, as someone who thinks he's a woman, tell both male and female-centric jokes? Since he has his Prada pumps in both gender camps (sort of), one might believe he can mock both men and women... The mind wonders. As does the penis. Which he still has.

As for people needing to get a joke, these seven tweets sum things up in the best way possible...

Suggesting a joke about Caitlin Jenner is automatically transphobic is like suggesting a joke about Bill Cosby is automatically racist.

Viewer: I'm offended by a joke you made. Me: So? Viewer: You gonna apologise? Me: No. Viewer: Then I won't watch you again. Me: Correct

You have every right to be offended. Just don't cry when no one cares.
— Ricky Gervais (@Ricky Gervais)1452604519.0

Do people not realise that when they say they are offended by a joke it makes that joke even funnier for the rest of us.

Don't offended people realise they are doing my marketing for me. https://t.co/FgYsri0vGa

A. "I'm offended by what you said. B. "I'm offended that you told me that." A. "I Don't care. I can say what I want." B. "There you go."
— Ricky Gervais (@Ricky Gervais)1452710124.0

Oh, and this.

Please, please, please let her host The @goldenglobes. Just don't let her drive.

BOOM! Roasted.

Send your angry, humor-phobic hate tweets to Steven Crowder. I'll be sure to not care.
