According to DHS, Mexican criminals have placed targeted bounties on federal law enforcement officers, including ICE and CBP agents in places like Chicago. It’s unclear why these criminals feel emboldened to go after federal law enforcement, but it may have something to do with local and state leaders creating a culture that paints them as the enemy. It could also be linked to officials promising to shield criminal aliens from federal deportation. You do the math.\

According to DHS:

Cartels have disseminated a structured bounty program to incentivize violence against federal personnel, with payouts escalating based on rank and action taken:

$2,000 for gathering intelligence or doxxing agents (including photos and family details).

$5,000–$10,000 for kidnapping or non-lethal assaults on standard ICE/CBP officers.

Up to $50,000 for the assassination of high-ranking officials.

Do you think the cartels are also upset that the administration in charge has closed the border, essentially cutting the $13 billion a year they were making from human trafficking under Biden? That may or may not have something to do with it as well. One would assume these scum lords don’t take kindly to an administration that disrupts organized crime — and considering that Chicago officials have already made it clear they will shield criminal aliens from prosecution, you add it up.

When you have open borders, you end up enabling some of the worst crimes. That’s not a shocking realization, and it’s likely that Chicago officials know it — but they don’t care, as they vow to go after those enforcing federal immigration laws rather than those breaking them.

Ironically, the cartels and the Democrats seem to have the same enemies — both oppose the Trump administration. Weird. Why do you think that is? …That’s up for you to decide.
