Easily confused Joy Behar attacks GOP silence over (checks notes) the DEMOCRAT VA AG candidate who wants to kill them

According to Joy Behar, the real problem with Democrat Virginia AG candidate Jay Jones sending text messages that condone—and arguably, straight up call for—violence against Republicans is that Republicans haven’t condemned it enough, despite him being a Democrat.
She claims that only Democrats have denounced him, but I’m not entirely sure that’s accurate. I mean, here’s Crazy Nancy… not doing just that.

She claimed that, “on balance,” Jay is the far better candidate. Call me crazy—just like Crazy Nancy—but I don’t think this is “balanced” or that he’s the better candidate.
If anything, this has proven just how much the left will never disavow one of their own—as long as it helps them beat Republicans.

While it’s cute that Joy tried to make this problem about Republicans, the truth is that it was a Democrat who said it—and it’s Democrats who refuse not only to condemn it but who blindly support him. If I didn’t know any better, I might even say they couldn’t care less about those text messages—but I do know better, so I won’t.
So, while it’s unfortunately unsurprising that a candidate in a big race thinks that way about those he disagrees with politically, it’s still no less reprehensible. This is precisely why Democrats must—and should—condemn it. But they won’t, as long as it keeps a Republican out of office. And there’s nothing more deranged than that.
