We're only a few months into Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's first term as a congresswoman, yet she's already amassed a career's worth of gaffes. Just take her latest bit of "wisdom" as an example. Our girl "Crazy Eyes" brought up presidential term limits and out-stupided herself yet again by showing her ignorance of historical facts.

When our party was boldest, the time of the New Deal, the Great Society, and the Civil Rights Act and so on. We had and carried supermajorities in the House and the Senate. We carried the presidency. They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get reelected.

Yeah, there's just one teeny problem. Franklin Delano Roosevelt departed for the promised land in 1945. It'd be kinda hard for him to acheive re-election from the great beyond. Sure, the Twenty-Second Amendment was in response to Roosevelt's four terms. Though, it was ratified well past Frankie's expiration date.

Keep in mind also, it took a supermajority to bring about the Twenty-Second Amendment. As in not just Republicans. Though, to hear Alex tell it, the amendment was a fringe conspiracy from the right to put the kibosh on leftist "awesomeness."

I can't be sure, but it sort of sounds like AOC has no trouble with the idea of a permanent president. She makes it sound as if there's something disagreeable about putting term limits in place to minimize the power of the government. Then again, lefties have no problem with changing rules to suit their needs. So, I wouldn't expect Ocasio-Cortez to understand.

We have here yet another case of cerebral inadequacy from AOC. She's well on her way to being lefty airhead of the millenium. I'm sure if we just give her some more time, she'll emerge victorious.
