Over the weekend, Russell Simmons was accused of sexually assaulting a teenager in 1991. To make it worse, the teenage model cried out to Brett Ratner (yes, THIS Brett Ratner) for help. Who may or may not have high-fived Simmons while this was happening. Anyway, Russel is an accused sexual predator. Tuck that into your brain, you'll need to come back to it later.

You may recall Terry Crews claiming a famous agent grabbed for his Old Spice stick. At a party. In front of Crews' wife. Hard to imagine anyone looking at all six foot seventeen inches of Terry F'n Crews, then thinking grabbing his junk in public is a good idea. Crews is built like you combined each of Kevin Spacey's 217 accusers (approximately) as if they were Serpentor (80s reference, Google it). And had them do nothing but lift weights for twenty years.

Maybe the agent got confused by Crews' character on Brooklyn Nine Nine and was going for a suicide by cop thing. Maybe he just took out a big insurance policy for his family and was eager to cash out. Either way, said agent is currently unemployed. Some people take issue with that. Not the disturbing act of sexual misconduct itself, rather the consequences that followed it.

This is where Russell Simmons comes in. The same Uncle Rush who was accused of assaulting a teenager while Brett Ratner looked on and said "niiiiiice." He emailed Terry Crews and tried to get him to forget about that penis getting grabbed thing.

Russell Simmons, who allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old model in 1991, urged Terry Crews to forgive the agent who he says groped him.

“Did he ever apologize? Give the agent a pass. Ask that he be reinstated,” Simmons said in an email to Crews after he claimed that Adam Venit grabbed his crotch at a party in February 2016.

“With great love, all things possible.”

Venit has since been put on leave from WME.

That's the entertainment industry, folks. One accused sex offender looking out for another accused sex offender. Who then looks out for even another accused sex offender twenty-five years later.

Rape culture was there all along. It was just 90% in Hollywood.
