WATCH: The Truth About the Odessa Shooting Private Gun Sale
The media has been focused on how the Odessa shooter (I never bothered to learn his name), after failing a background check, was able to obtain a gun through a private gun sale. Specifically, focusing on how Texas Republicans fought to block background checks on private gun sales. Or so the story goes. A story without much meat. We're beginning to find out why. It's because it was an ILLEGAL sale. Buh-bye narrative.
FBI and the ATF are still investigating after serving a search warrant in the 3400 block of Mesa Road in Lubbock, across from the Lubbock Country Club, apparently in connection with the Midland/Odessa shootings from Saturday. We’re still waiting on official confirmation, but we believe this search is related to the manufacture and sale of the AR-15 used in the Midland/Odessa shootings.
The Wall Street Journal reports that law enforcement is investigating a person of interest in Lubbock, suspected of illegally manufacturing and selling the rifle used in Saturday’s mass shooting in Midland/Odessa.
Ready your butts, because this is going to be the next year of politics. Leftists and the media lying/omitting facts about guns because it doesn't fit their agenda (see AOC Scolds Dan Crenshaw for Loaning Guns to Friends Because She Fundamentally Believes the Worst of People and Cory Booker, David Hogg Think Toy Guns Are More Regulated than Real Guns). Which is nothing new for the left. But they seem to have all of their regular bullshit turned up to eleven.
Facts, schmacts. Who really cares about the "details" over whether a private gun sale was legal or illegal? This is the opposition's best argument. It's only going to get worse.
