WATCH: Cory Booker Makes Wild Claims About Border Security and the Holocaust
Say it with me now, nothing is like the Holocaust. Criticizing an antisemitic congresswoman is not like the Holocaust. Aggregated global change climate cooling warming is not like 25 Holocausts. And no, Cory Booker, border security isn't either.

As much as [Trump] wants to make us afraid of people trying to come here escaping terror, not remembering like when we turned around other immigrants trying to escape terror. There was a ship that came here during World War II with a bunch of folks trying to escape the Holocaust and we turned it around where they got killed in the Holocaust.
I don't know if the ship part is true. My initial Googling yielded nothing. So we'll wait for the "fact" checkers to cover that one. Who will give Cory a half true just for spelling "Mexico" right. Still, I'm curious. As you'd think a big thing like this would've made its way into a history book or two.
Maybe Cory made wild claims because of the recent Des Moines Register poll that had Cory Booker polling beneath a ham sandwich. And some homeless guy who thinks he's Walter Mondale. While ironically enough still polling over Kirsten Gillibrand. Cory needs something shocking to jump-start his campaign. In this case, claim America condemned a boat load of Jews to the gas chambers.
What a uniting message.
So he sings the Holocaust song to slam the idea of border security, which lets him pander to both open borders advocates AND antisemites. Both of which are core constituents in the Democrat Party.
