For reasons known only to maybe George Soros and Brian Stelter, leftists thought it would be a good idea to bring up Brett Kavanaugh. While the word "bombshell" gets overused in the media these days, there was one that set off this week.

No, not against Brett Kavanaugh. Against the people against Brett Kavanaugh. We touched on it yesterday, but it's surprisingly being reported by the evening news.

So here's how badly the left screwed the pooch on this one. The New York Times runs a piece in their opinion section -- that was originally denied by their news section -- claiming a new Kavanaugh bombshell just so the authors can sell a book. Since apparently even the Democrat candidates running for president only read the headlines, many called for Kavanaugh to be impeached. Which may have worked... had review copies of the book not also been sent to conservatives.

Now other media outlets are being forced to admit this is all a bunch of poppycock.

Trump 2020 should send the NYT a nice quiche.
