BREAKING: Governor Tim Walz announces he is dropping out of the governor’s race, mentions Nick Shirley in his statement.

You can’t turn a blind eye to millions of dollars of fraud when you are the leader of the state and expect people to be okay with that. This may or may not be why Tampon Tim Walz has decided he’s too pathetic to carry on his campaign and has dropped out of the Governor's race.
Walz has officially announced he will be dropping out of the governor’s race. Predictably, he blamed Trump. Unpredictably, he blamed Nick Shirley for exposing the mess going on in his state.
According to Fox News:
"The political gamesmanship we’re seeing from Republicans is only making that fight harder to win," Walz charged in a statement.
According to Walz, “Donald Trump and his allies in Washington, in St. Paul, and online, want to make our state a colder, meaner place.” But you see, Trump does not have to do that because Walz was perfectly capable of this on his own. It is he who was in charge during this fraud scheme, and he has no one to blame but himself. So, while he could go and point the finger at Republicans for his mess, which he is very well doing, voters are not so easily fooled. They know exactly who is to blame, and it surely is not Trump or his allies.
"But as I reflected on this moment with my family and my team over the holidays, I came to the conclusion that I can’t give a political campaign my all," the governor added. "Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences."
Wow. Now, where was this attitude when the fraud was going on? Why did he not spend every minute defending the people of Minnesota when this large-scale fraud scheme was going on? Why does he only want to pretend to care after the fact? That remains unclear, but you are free to use your imagination.
"So I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work," the governor announced.
Can you believe this man almost became Vice President? To claim we dodged a bullet with this one would be an understatement.
More than 90 people — most from Minnesota's large Somali community — have been charged since 2022 in what has been described as the nation's largest COVID-era scheme. How much money has been stolen through alleged money laundering operations involving fraudulent meal and housing programs, daycare centers, and Medicaid services is still being tabulated. But the U.S. attorney in Minnesota said the scope of the fraud could exceed $1 billion and rise to as high as $9 billion.
My favorite part of the statement was not when he addressed the alleged fraud, which some claimed could be billions, but when he blamed Shirley for exposing it. According to Walz, "We’ve got conspiracy theorist right-wing YouTubers breaking into daycare centers and demanding access to our children.” But if that were true, why is it not true? He never broke into any fake center, and he never demanded access to any children, not that there were any kids in the facility to begin with, but I digress.
Rather than own up to his failures, he has decided to give up. And to call him a predictable, pathetic man would be an understatement. Nonetheless, he's fooling no one, as everyone can see his incompetence on full display.
