No one has less patience for outrage culture than comics. Especially when many comedians find themselves on the wrong end of outrage mobs. So it shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise Bill Burr and Joe Rogan (see Joe Rogan, Academics Expose Truth About Feminist Theory and Bill Burr on PC Culture in Comedy: “Drive a Bus Right Through It.”) shall we say, aren’t fans of the people pushing the outrage.
We start with a feminist trying to get a college professor fired for having a different opinion than her. And then the ranting starts…
The main point from the video is pointing out how small and insignificant the outrage mobs are. They just speak really loudly. People who handle PR for companies are pussies. A lot can be solved in 2019 if people just learn the word “no.”
FIRE THIS PERSON! No.
BAN THIS PERSON! No.
I DEMAND AN APOLOGY. No.
F*** you works too. But let’s try politeness first.
The mobs get their power because they just assume you are going to cave and give in. If you don’t cave, if you don’t apologize, then they have nothing. Exposed for being nothing more than a paper tiger.
Everyone needs to grow a set. Because the power of the mob is just a lie. Read Dear Victims of Internet Outrage Mobs: NEVER Apologize!
