In case you haven't noticed, America's economy is blowing up like a Muhammad fangirl's Semtex sweater. A lot of people are crediting our apricot-tinted POTUS with creating the boom, but not Valerie Jarrett. No, she thinks our previous douchetastic dunce of a commander-in chief, Barry Obama, deserves all the praise. Watch this:

Former President Barack Obama’s top adviser Valerie Jarrett dodged on giving President Trump credit for the lowest unemployment rate in almost two decades.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced Friday that the U.S. economy added 164,000 jobs in April, pushing the unemployment rate down to 3.9 percent, the lowest since 2000.

When asked on CNN’s “New Day” if Jarrett gives Trump credit for that, she deferred to giving Obama credit for starting the trend.

“Look, I think we have to look at it over a longer horizon than that,” she said. “If you think about what the economy was like when President Obama took office, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. Under his watch, the unemployment rate dropped in half and it’s encouraging to see that we’re continuing to make progress.”

So, according to Val, it's the tireless work of Barry Big Ears which allows us to make it rain right now.

Yeah, I kind of doubt raising taxes, increasing regulations, and being an all-around buttmunch to business owners was the recipe for a robust economy. The numbers seem to agree. I think you could better argue the recovery and boom are in spite of Barry's best efforts.

The truth is no president gets full credit for the economy. The only thing a president can really do to the economy is drag it down by meddling. Which seemed to be O-butthole's favorite pastime. Trump, on the other hand, has gotten out of the way for the most part. Hence, that extra money in your pocket.

It's really not that complicated.
