The left continues to lose over the USAID spending scandal, as it’s been revealed that your tax dollars have been financing the disinformation that the fake news media has been feeding the masses. Today’s show breaks it down.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed yesterday that “more than $8 million taxpayer dollars that have gone to essentially subsidizing subscriptions to Politico on the American taxpayers’ dime will no longer be happening.”

According to The Washington Times:

The announcement came after the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency uncovered Politico was paid $8.2 million in “government subsidies.”

Ms. Leavitt said the administration is going line by line through federal spending to ensure taxpayer dollars are being spent in a manner that serves the interest of the American people.

“If it is not, that funding will no longer be sent abroad and American taxpayers will see significant savings because of that effort,” she said.

However, according to CNN and other leftist outlets, this is nothing more than “a right-wing conspiracy theory.”

In reality, the payments represented the whole of the federal government’s subscriptions to the news outlets’ services. All federal agencies combined spent $8.2 million last year on Politico Pro, according to USASpending.gov.

"That's worse. That means that more government agencies were giving Politico money for their hackery," Crowder said. “It is still $8 million but the left will fact-check that as if it’s false. I would argue that it’s worse.”

Since 2016, the outlet has received over $32 million in funding from all government agencies.

“The press cannot be free if they are bound to the government,” Crowder said. “Their job was to do what DOGE is doing now.”

It gets worse than that, as the government funded other leftist outlets, including the BBC.

"If the government allows you to exist, would you imagine that that entity is beholden to the government? Would you imagine that entity has a vested interest in larger government?" Crowder said.
