In other non gun-related news, Trump’s tax cut is a big hit on the streets. Call me a certifiable loon, but it seems like people like having more money. Who would’ve ever guessed it. This transfer of money from the government coffers to the peeps’ pockets has the left afraid for their future election prospects. In fact, they’re so afraid, words like “Trump landslide” and “reelection” are prevalent when discussing 2020.
MSNBC guest and marketing expert Donny Deutsch said Monday that President Donald Trump will win reelection “in a landslide” if he is not removed from office before 2020.
Sirius XM radio host Karen Hunter said the administration’s problems will not matter to voters.
“We can have these conversations all day long, and all the punditry can be absolutely correct, but it’s not going to show up in the voting booths,” Hunter said.
“I’ll go one better than you,” Deutsch told Hunter. “And this scares me. If he is not taken out of office, he will win again in a landslide,” Deutsch finished, talking about Trump in 2020. “Because people vote with their pocketbooks, and that’s what’s scary to me.”
American citizens being happy with a robust economy and more money in their pocket is scary?
I suppose the fear is understandable. Successful people are a lot less likely to vote for “hope” or “change” than leftists would prefer. I guess this is leftists’ worst nightmare. People being complacent enough to not need the Democrats to “redistribute some wealth” in their direction. Horrific.
Also, it seems to me like leftists wanting to impeach the Trump is more of a partisan thing. Instead of them being concerned with Trump drenching himself in Russian call girls’ pee-pee. What this hack is basically saying is “we have to force him out of office before the people get their chance to give him a round two.”
The reality is leftists don’t care how well the people are doing, or if they’re happy with the way things are going. For them, it’s all about tightening their death grip on America’s throat. Consolidating power is more important than good policy. I’m sure many people will remember that come election time.
