James Woods Exposes the REAL Problem of the Cities in Complete Chaos

Brodigan
June 22, 2020

A six-block chunk of Seattle has been taken over by a warlord. Minneapolis was in flames. The inmates are running New York City. Chicago is ... well, Chicago is Chicago. Our cities are the birth of the #DefundThePolice movement, even though most of America thinks that's silly (see POLL: AMERICANS OVERWHELMINGLY OPPOSE #DEFUNDTHEPOLICE and TWO BLACK WOMEN CONFRONTED A COP EATING BREAKFAST ... AND SAID THANK YOU).

Turn on the news and you would think our country is in chaos, because our cities are in chaos and those are the only places the media cares about. Our cities also have one other thing in common, as actor and rouser of rabble James Woods points out. He's specifically talking about Minneapolis, though this applies to most other cities as well.

The same low-information voters have been re-electing the same failed officials from the same political party that has been failing the same cities for decades. Yes, Republicans could be putting up more of a fight. Or any fight. If you come across a suitcase full of money that you can give the local party, they might be able to get a commercial on the air during the afternoon. Then that Republican will be accused of being an -ist or practicing an -ism, and the voters will do what they always do.

At the end of the day, it's all up to the voters. But when elected officials basically let them make all the rules, like in Seattle and NYC and Minneapolis, I don't see things changing any time soon.
