I can't believe we're still doing this. Actually, I can believe we're still doing this because the media has no self-respect and sucks at life. But Sydney Sweeney is back in the news, so it's another excuse for Cosmopolitan to demand she denounce anyone who has a different opinion than the woke journalismers who work at Cosmo. Instead of doing the patriotic thing, like appreciating her new lingerie line and the content Sweeney is creating with said lingerie.

Unlike at Cosmo and the rest of the media, we here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are pro-woman and believe it's our duty to amplify strong female voices.

We're happy to report that the actress is still refusing to take the bait. Cosmo tried their best, in an interview that was meant to promote her new Syrn lingerie line: "There is a charged nickname that has stuck to you on social media: “MAGA Barbie. How do you understand this label given that you’ve been private about your politics?" "You don’t speak to your fans directly about your political beliefs. Do you think you’d ever change your mind about doing the same?" "Why not correct if it's not true?" "Please, we're begging you, say something about Kristi Noem or Minnesota we can put in a tweet!"

Sweeney's media training can't be touched.

I’ve never been here to talk about politics. I’ve always been here to make art, so this is just not a conversation I want to be at the forefront of. And I think because of that, people want to take it even further and use me as their own pawn. But it’s somebody else assigning something to me, and I can’t control that.

This has been going on for years. It began in 2022, when the actress posted photos from the 60th birthday party she hosted for her mother. Some of the people were wearing parody "Make Sixty Great Again" hats. A handful of idiots in the comments complained she was promoting Trump. A handful of idiots in the media who share the same political opinions as the handful of idiots in the comments used it as an excuse to create content and bully Sweeney into an apology and denouncement. A year later, they were still trying because the actress refused to play along.

Of course, you had the American Eagle ad. That was where too many people on the right were having fun with the fact that We The People were free to like pretty girls in advertisements again, so the left and the media (but I repeat myself) found that to be racist and wrong. Sweeney was accused of promoting eugenics over a cheeky "good jeans" quip.

Then, when she finally broke her silence over the controversy, she still refused to apologize or repeat the GQ reporter's opinions back to her.

As a constitutional observer of our "culture wars," even I'm surprised at Sydney Sweeney's constant refusal to take any of the bait, and the lack of f*cks that go with it. At times, an actor or actress may begin to worry about their career and whether Hollywood will still allow them to have one. The Housemaid grossed over $300 million without Sweeney bending the knee. Imagine that.
