Add actor Ben Stiller to the list of out-of-touch celebrities who believe their naive opinions should override the will of the people. Because, in case it was too clear to Hollywood, the people voted for this.

Stiller has decided his opinion matters when, in fact, it does not. This is why he’s released a statement demanding that the federal government “represent the expressed will of the people they serve, including removing ICE from our streets. We must demand justice and an end to this lethal chaos.”

Illegal immigration moved to the top issue list during the 2024 election. Again, people voted to end the previous open border and put law and order back on the street. While the left despises that, the majority is not on their side. So, if we are to actively serve the interests of the people, the left would respect these enforcement operations and keep their mouths shut. But they don't because they don't care what the little guy in middle America wants, as people like him believe leftist radicals should override that for the entire country.

According to Far Out Magazine:

In the letter, the Severance director spoke about how the act of “peaceful protest is a constitutionally protected form of free speech that is essential to our existence as a democracy.”

Okay? No one is denying that. But in case it was not clear by his own statement, the word “peaceful” means something. He should remember that before he releases these foolish statements.

He also said that the role of elected representatives and those in power comes with a “responsibility to act with integrity and honesty”, as well as “to not lie to us, in the face of the plain facts.”

Okay? What’s his point?

His emotional letter concluded, “I believe we can reverse this slide toward division and hate. Facing this moment with a return to empathy and love for one another might sound naïve, but it’s ultimately what will move our country forward and out of this.”

Someone should really inform him that enforcing laws is not evil. In fact, if he truly wanted the best for people and this country, he would be all in for mass deportations. But he does not actually care about these people, as it's nothing but an ideology PR game for these celebrities. Nonetheless, he could have kept have said nothing, but his arrogance would not allow that. But yes, he is correct, he does sound “naive.”

If the left should have learned anything from the 2024 election, it is that no one cares about what out-of-touch celebrities have to say. The sooner they realize that, the better off they will be. Until then, we shall sit back and wait for the next narcissistic celeb to weigh in on the issues they know nothing about.
