This mosque is in Dearborn, MI, and is the LARGEST mosque in the United States...

File this one under "common sense," which will later be filed by a liberal under "hate speech" and "racism" and "Islamophobia." Maybe all these files will be put into a suitcase next to a ticking clock. Yes, I went there. No, I'm not sorry.

You know who else isn't sorry? The Sterling Heights, Michigan Planning Commission, who in a 9-0 vote denied the building of a 20k square foot mosque in the residential area of their town. Granted, any leftist reading this has already combusted in an explosion of 'tolerant' glory, but for those of you who are still in one piece, Michigan had some pretty decent reasoning for putting the kibosh on the new mosque.

The fight was over the size and scope of the 20,500 square foot building in a residential area.

Those against the mosque say it would cause too much traffic and congestion. A small group hinted at linking the house of worship to extremism.

Mosque leaders say they offered to revise and downsize the plan, changing the dome and towers, but that didn't work.

Some told us, "This doesn't seem like Sterling Heights. I feel like I'm in Baghdad."

The proposed mosque was an enormous building dropped in the middle of Mr. Rogers neighborhood. Mosques also have a call to prayer at Oh Dark Early (yes I went there, and no I'm not sorry), which may affect people's morning routine of eggs and Islam-not-approved bacon breakfasts. Also, because having a giant mosque in the midst of people's homes made them feel like they were living in the Middle East. IEDs and child rapes not included...yet.

But there's another reason no one dares mention. Michigan is becoming a hot bed for Islamist extremism, exemplified by an upstanding citizen named Osama Siblani. That's his real name, no I'm not making it up. Stop being a racist and listen. As we reported a few crescent moons ago, Michigan is home to Osama Siblani who said this about Pam Gellar, the woman who hosted a "Draw Muhammed" contest in Texas that almost got her shot:

“She is a hatemonger. She is drawing incitement and violence.” … “Let me talk a little bit about ISIS. ISIS is a hate group exactly like Pamela Geller. She is drawing killers, she makes killers, she is inviting killers to come in.” … “She is worse than ISIS. She is worse than ISIS.”

Got that? Drawing a cartoon of Muhammed is the same as cutting off people's heads or putting them in cages and burning them alive. Also, the liberals didn't call for gun control after the shooting attempt on Gellar and her cohorts. Just saying.

Being on the cutting edge of machetes, as we always are, we also did a little digging into Osama:

In Osama’s own words, Hezbollah are ‘Lebanese people who are fighting Israel’s occupation’. That’s all. And he supports their right to fight the occupation. No word yet on all the innocent people they kill. Because, you know, tolerance.

Osama Siblani is a prime example of what Islam is doing across the country today. He’s someone who’s taken advantage of the American dream – a dream he’d never be afforded in any Islamic country – only to turn on it and support anti-American, pro-terrorist organizations in order to, wait for it… subvert America. And if we speak out, the left accuses us of hate-speech!

So Michigan made a preemptive move and said NO to this newest mosque. My guess is, most people of Michigan, knowing that shining examples of Islam like Osama Siblani are taking up residence in their neighborhoods, didn't lose much sleep over giving a giant NO to this new mosque. You can probably lob labels of "racism" and "intolerance" their way. But at the end of the day, like a Palestinian kid throwing rocks at an Israeli tank... it just isn't going to matter all that much.

Also, Muslim people don't like the gays and they will not bake Steve and Ben a cake. Nor is anyone brave enough to sue them for it. Because, you know, clock bombs and beheadings.
