The Los Angeles political machine was ready for policy attacks.
They were not prepared for karaoke night.
And Katharine McPhee turned “Simply the best… better than Karen Bass” into a legit crowd anthem.@katharinemcphee @spencerpratt pic.twitter.com/VwvniykEhe

We're two-ish weeks away from the Los Angeles mayoral primary, which explains the Obama Bros being activated to attack Spencer Pratt over a silly hit piece. In what we here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are sure is coincidental timing, this comes at the exact moment big money donors are starting to rally around Pratt's insurgent campaign. Namely, legendary music producer David Foster and American Idol alumnus Katharine McPhee.
This clip is going viral, where McPhee remixed the Tina Turner classic "Simply the Best."
Old and busted: Simply the best, better than all the rest...
New Hottness: Simply the best, better than Karen Bass...

I've got ten bucks that a journalismer tracks down one of Tina Turner's grandkids to denounce this.
Here's the thing: I wouldn't read too much into the fundraiser. Four years ago, when LA was a crime-infested suckhole where the streets were lined with homeless feces, there were celebrities who endorsed the Republican candidate then, too. Like Chris Pratt (no relation). LA voters decided they didn't suffer enough, and elected Democrat Karen Bass.
You would think four years later, voters would have been gluttons for punishment long enough, when nothing has changed in the city except for one of Bass's ideological comrades burning down the Pallesades.
However, the fundraiser DOES explain why Democrats are so scared; they are using oppo dumps and TMZ. Pratt and his family are staying in a hotel and NOT living in a trailer. As it turns out, running against a Democrat in California leads to you getting a lot of death threats, so Pratt needed a place with extra security. Here, let him explain:
@TMZ’s Harvey Levin goes OFF on how Karen Bass has destroyed Los Angeles, with the last 4 years being especially bad, recounting homeless crazies smashing his car as he stood and watched, shrugging “I live in Los Angeles”, giving a campaign ad gift to @spencerpratt pic.twitter.com/4Bo7xoMmY6

Sorry, wrong clip.
TMZ tried to do a hit piece on Spencer Pratt and it failed miserably! pic.twitter.com/gZnkLFBp7H

Now it makes sense why the Obama Bros have been activated, and you have people like Jon Favareau taking a break from glazing the nazi tattoo guy in Maine to push this hit piece, as well as a decades-old tweet where Pratt said something nice about Alex Jones. I know that you know that I know that you know what that means.
Favreau has spent the majority of his time online for the last two days suddenly focusing on Pratt.
That's called marching orders.

We'll see in two weeks' time whether we get Pratt vs Bass in the general, or if we get socialist Bass going up against a bigger socialist. At least it's giving us plenty of content to enjoy in the meantime.
