A "Killer Clown" Is Stalking The Scotland Streets, And Here's His Video Warning To The Villagers
A creepy clown in a Pennywise costume has been stalking the streets of a Scottish Village, leaving red balloons everywhere, just weeks before Halloween. This has left some individuals so fearful that they cannot even leave their houses.
The clown issued a message to the media and dared the police to catch him.
It seems that he really has turned the local outlets into a media circus.
“Well, well, well, I’ve made the news again,” he says in a video.
“Should I smile for the cameras with my ‘hideous’ grin?”
Quoting bits from media stories and posts on social media, the figure continues: "The police have been informed. Do you think I care? They'd have to catch me first anyway, and yes, that's a dare."
Yes, he also has a Facebook page. An account for the Skelmorlie clown has been set up with the name Cole Deimos.
The clown has allegedly been leaving red balloons around Skelmorlie in North Ayrshire.
His Facebook alleges the person "studied at Clown School" and lives in Skelmorlie. But he is from Michigan.
According to Sky News, in response to a local who said the clown had deleted previous posts because they were "getting too much heat", they said: "What a stupid thing to say."
Is this another replay of 2016? That year, clowns began to surface all across the country, with several clown-related threats, robberies, and close encounters involving young children.
That same year, in Alabama, at least seven people faced felony charges connected to “clown-related activity,” Rainbow City Police Chief Jonathon Horton told the Times-Picayune.
Clown hysteria is not new. And reports have at least gone back to the 1980s.
But this mysterious figure has been terrorizing the locals for several years.
The clown reportedly first appeared in the village in 2021 in a number of videos posted on social media. He left a number of red balloons, with footage also capturing it walking around late at night.
Last year, he also left red balloons and clues around the village, with locals asked to solve riddles, which spelled out the word CLOWN.
This year, he is back. But residents have yet to figure out his true identity.
Local police have said they are aware of the posts but have not confirmed whether these are credible clown threats.
But not all locals are fearful for their lives.
In response to the video, one Facebook commenter said: "Love it! Never stop! We're at Meigle and have always hoped to see you out. We were out the other night in skelmorlie hoping to bump into u."
Another commented: "Out of all the clowns in this village he's the best."
All of these reports sound very in-tents to me.
