Shrill, gun-control harpy brags about getting Jason Aldean's "Try That in A Small Town" canceled from CMT
Jason Aldean's anti-Democrat Party platform anthem "Try That in A Small Town" is #1 in the charts. The videos is viewed all over Twitter and the rest of social media. The controversy has promoted the video and made it more popular than it would have ever been. So much so, I follow country music and had no idea it existed until it became culture war content. It even debuted on network television.
HOWEVER, leftists were able to get the video pulled from the NYC-baed MTV-owned CMT. And for that, shrill gun control harpy Shannon Watts wants you to know, "Yeah, I did that."
Gun Control Karen (shout out to whoever first came up with that on Twitter) repeats every other leftist talking point. Where Watts' particular set of derp, derp she's acquired over a very long career, comes in is Aldean's bars about the right to self-defense and the government coming to take that right away. Watts makes a lot of money advocating for those rights to be taken away.
She points to Aldean performing on stage during the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. The one where six years later, we still don't know who did it. There are people in America who see tragedies like that and don't want their government to further make it more difficult for them to defend themselves. Especially a government that still hasn't found the guy who did it. And then there are people like Shannon Watts who are all over the media, vote for progressives, and wonder why their cities aren't safe.
But none of this touches on the most ridiculous part of Gun Control Karen bragging about how she got the video pulled from CMT.
Who the f*ck watches videos on television anymore?
People watch videos on YouTube. They watch it on Twitter. They buy it from iTunes. All Watts did was cause Aldean's video to receive less than ten extra plays a day on a low-rated cable television station. Congratulations?
