We are less than twenty-four hours after outrage over Roseanne tweeting a joke about someone’s looks. Seeing her get fired in record time over a tweet. Here’s a stand-up “comedian” calling the president’s daughter a “c*nt.” Not even because Ivanka did something partisan. Not that it would be less disgusting if she did. But all Ivanka did was share a picture of her with her kid.
Start the clock. Let’s see how long before TBS and/or Samantha Bee’s sponsors pull the plug. Fair is fair. These are the rules of which all public figures must oblige, right? What’s good for the goose and all that. We’ve seen the end of Bee’s career, right? Wait. Right?!
