Robert De Niro just cannot seem to help himself. His TDS has taken over his life, as he makes hating the President his entire persona.

Speaking at a "Rise Up Sing Out" First Amendment concert event, De Niro said he hates to say it, but then proceeded to say how much he hates the president.

“I hate to say it, but loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser,” he said.

The problem with this statement is that no one is being abused by the president. While no administration is perfect, including this one, to claim this is some mass case of Stockholm syndrome would be disingenuous, to say the very least.

Ironically, though, this statement does serve true for the left. This is because for far too long, the Democrats have made their voters worse off, yet the people continue to elect them. Is it even possible to name one thing the left has prioritized to make the American people better off in the last several years? No? I didn't think so.

He added: “I can’t love a country that starts stupid and inhumane wars, killing thousands of innocents and indirectly causing the deaths and suffering of millions more.

This is bizarre because I do not recall him having a problem when Biden did just that. How come the president is only responsible for people dying in inhumane wars when a Republican is in charge? At the very least, you would hope the standards are fair, but this is precisely why we have the saying, “If the left did not have double standards, they would have none at all.”

“I can’t love a country that takes healthcare away from millions of people and uses that money to enrich their pals in the Trump-Epstein class. I can’t love a country that sends out masked militias to shoot citizens in the streets, torture our neighbours, and separate families.

The problem with this statement is that, again, it is a lie. No one is taking healthcare away. You have got to be clinically stupid to believe cracking down on fraud is somehow taking benefits away from the American people.

For example, “The Trump administration [suspended] $1.1 billion in Medicaid funding from California’s home health program over fraud concerns.” Unsurprisingly, in one instance, eight people were federally charged after it was believed they worked to “schemed to defraud the nation’s health care system out of more than $50 million – including by running sham hospice care facilities that bilked Medicare by using people without terminal illnesses as beneficiaries.”

Call me crazy, but cracking down on fraud would seem like an objectively good thing. Weird how these leftists frame it as if people are losing benefits. Why do you think that is?

And it goes without saying that enforcing federal immigration laws is not even remotely close to sending “out masked militias to shoot citizens in the streets, torture our neighbours, and separate families,” but I digress.

“I can’t love a country that’s led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant. And let me just say it: I can’t love the country that’s led by Donald Trump and his sycophant Congress.”

This is such low-IQ thinking. You can certainly love this country and acknowledge all the good it has done for the world, without liking the president. This is how spoiled these people are. The moment an out-of-touch leftist does not get their way, it is tyranny, despite that being further from the truth.

It is unclear if De Niro truly believes the lies he spreads or if he is that stupid, so draw your own conclusions. Nonetheless, this man would do himself a lot of favors if he just stopped talking. Clearly, though, he will not, as he has proven he is way too arrogant for that. But what else is new?
