It is unclear if leftists realize that for an attack to ruin someone’s chances of winning an election, you should go after policy positions that are, at the very least, illogical. Because the LA County Federation of Labor has just released an attack ad on Los Angeles Mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt, and from an outside perspective, you might assume they are endorsing him.
In the ad, the union claims Pratt opposes using taxpayer funds to build more housing for homeless people. Apparently, this is supposed to be controversial. And while I cannot speak for the voters of Los Angeles, especially because they have an abysmal track record, there is more than enough evidence that the more housing you build, the more the homeless population grows.
While this does not mean there is a direct cause-and-effect relationship between these two things, it does mean the issue has nothing to do with people lacking housing. This is why the more housing officials build, the worse the problems always seem to get. In fact, the left has spent millions -- if not billions -- on housing away the problem -- and it fixes nothing. Are they really that stupid? Or is the left's intent to make the problem worse? You do the math.
Here is Pratt to break it down for the people in the back.

The union would also like it if you believed that more police officers are a bad thing. This one is especially stupid because vilifying the police was so 2020. It is now 2026, and public safety is trending again.
Here is what Pratt really thinks about crime and how he plans to make public safety great again.
🇺🇸 Spencer Pratt is now acting as a self-appointed street czar for LA, giving the city 3 weeks before he starts “enforcing” laws on nudity, drugs, robbery, and dog abuse.

Was this supposed to be controversial?
The “attack ad” was so bad you would assume it was satire. It is not. This is just how naive and foolish many people in Los Angeles are. Pratt is the only way Los Angeles has any chance of coming back from its third-world-like state.
