It would appear that the left is no longer fighting the patriarchy.
In the progressive pursuit of toxic masculinity, women are not allowed to criticize men, as Countdown host Sam Ponder was just fired for daring to speak up for women’s sports. Thus, a man just fired ESPN’s only female reporter.
So ESPN fires @samponder, the only woman at the network who was publicly said men don't belong in women's sports. 3 weeks before football season?
Sam is one of the most beautiful, genuine women I've ever met along with @sagesteele who had a similar fate....not a coincidence. pic.twitter.com/igeC87UOnK

According to The Post Millennial:
ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown host Sam Ponder, the outlet’s only female announcer who has been outspoken against the inclusion of biological males in women’s sports, has reportedly been fired from the network, alongside analyst Robert Griffin III.
A source briefed on the matter told The Athletic that the decisions were made for financial reasons, with ESPN’s fiscal year concluding at the end of September. Ponder and Griffin both made over seven figures. They were informed of the decision on Thursday morning.
Ponder was set to enter the final season of a three-year deal with the outlet, which was worth more than $3 million, sources with knowledge of her contract said. Ponder replaced Chris Berman on Sunday NFL Countdown in 2017.
Ponder has been vocal on her stance of keeping things fair in sports, previously claiming that allowing males to compete against women would “take away so many opportunities for biological women and girls in sports.”
Ponder has supported the women who competed on the same team as University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas, who is a trans-identified male. She wrote in response to one teammate's testimony before Congress, "Paula you are so brave and your voice is so important."
There should be nothing controversial about that because for all of human history that is how things were done. But now, a male-dominated industry is retaliating against a woman for daring to have an opinion and the fake feminist couldn't be any more quiet if they tried.
It should not be a fireable offense to claim girls should be allowed to compete against girls for scholarships and for the side that claims to want to have more representation of women, they really suck at having representation of women.
