Olive Garden Refuses Service to Police Officer. Also, Their Food Still Sucks...
We've seen stories about restaurants refusing to serve police officers. We've seen stories about restaurants refusing to serve people who are open-carrying. Now we have Olive Garden refusing to serve a police officer... for open carrying.
Yes. A police officer - WHO WAS IN UNIFORM - was told to leave because he had his gun on him.
So I was going to eat lunch with my family today (10-11-2015), we had decided to go to the Olive Garden in Independence off 40hwy and Noland Rd for my birthday lunch. They were running late getting there so I decided to go inside and wait for them. I walked in and sat down on a bench just inside the doors. As I was sitting there waiting, one of the employees told me " Sir, we don't allow guns in here."
Now mind you I am in full police uniform and on duty. I actually thought it was a joke at first so I asked her " Are you serious?" She replied back with " Yes". So I told her " well I can leave I guess." S
he then replied back "yes please leave"
Now I never in my wildest thoughts would of thought this would happen in the Kansas City area. I see it happening all over the United States to other officers but never thought it would of happened to me.
Please share this post and let everyone know how this establishment is treating their local law enforcement.
The President of Olive Garden of course apologized, claiming that the employee was
a moronleftist douche wrong. Some say it had nothing to do with him being a cop as much as it had to do with people being nervous around guns lately. Of course, that doesn't make sense because part of the liberal, anti-gun rhetoric is that only trained police officers should have them.
Hatred of cops or hatred of guns? To which will they give the right of way? Quite the quandary.
This is just what happens when the media lies about police and guns as much as they do, leaving low information leftists to blindly believe whatever they've read on Facebook about people they already don't like. Because tolerance.
Bad move, Olive Garden. If your food didn't already suck beyond what I've even dreamed possible, I'd stop eating there.
