The American people are finally pushing back against the totalitarian governors who've all but wiped their rear-holes with the Constitution in efforts to "flatten the curve." Codswallop. But at least Americans are seeing through to the real game these political power-grabbers are after. One such power-hungry twit is Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who has insisted these stay-at-home orders are just that. Orders. Step outside, and it's off with your head. Not literally, but dang if it doesn't feel like many of our elected officials are acting like the kings and queens of old. Fortunately the sheriffs in Northern Michigan are telling the governor where she can lick it and stick it.

Now, aside from the typo in the tweet (should say NOT and not NEXT) this is a good first step. Yes, first step. At some point soon, the people's pushback needs to be more. Yes, yes, I know there was a protest in Michigan starting from their cars, with an eventual spill out onto the capitol lawn. Let Michigan be the first wave of what should be a national effort to show ELECTED officials who is actually in charge and who will not be cowed into compliance. Time to get brave, America. Sheriffs and police departments across the country need to enforce the Constitution and offer plenty of pushback against their tyrannical state leadership. And yes, we've seen a lot of tyrannical state and local leadership in the past four weeks. It's almost as if power-hungry politicians actively used the pandemic to be totalitarian wing-nuts.
