You may remember all the controversy over Pamela Geller’s “Draw Muhammad” contest from 2015 (see Pamela Geller Destroys CNN On “Drawing Mohammad” and Dear “Conservatives” Too Cowardly To Show The Winning Muhammad Cartoon…).
Well here’s an interesting new development on that front:
BREAKING: Massachusetts man convicted in plot to behead conservative blogger Pamela Gellar over Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest.
— The Associated Press (@AP) October 18, 2017
Again, the actual plot itself was back in 2015, but the decision just came to light.
A federal jury has found a Boston man guilty of conspiracy to commit terrorism and of supporting the Islamic State over a 2015 plot to behead conservative Pamela Geller.
On Wednesday, jurors found David Wright guilty of five criminal charges, including planning to behead Geller. He could face up to life in prison.
The plot was hatched when Wright, his uncle Usamaah Abdullah Rahim and Nicolas Rovinski became upset over Geller organizing a “Draw Mohammad” contest in Garland, Texas in 2015.
Gasp. Here’s the part where we feign surprise.
This is just one part of an ongoing Islamic pattern (see UK Nursery Worker STABBED by Women Who “Did it for Allah!” Police NOT Treating as Terrorism?!). Still, the majority of the left refuses to denounce Islamic violence. Too busy accusing conservatives of violence I suppose. Meanwhile, I’ve yet to see a case of offended Buddhists chopping heads because someone insulted Buddha.
When it comes to insulting Muhammad or Allah, every Muslim and his 9-year-old wives lose their marbles over it. And in this case, Pamela almost lost her head because of it. Thank heavens these towel-clad dimwits were too stupid to stick to their own plan.
Wright, 28, Rahim and Rovinski brought knives and planned to travel to New York to kill Geller. That plan fell apart in June 2015, when Rahim said he had lost patience and planned to attack police in Boston instead … This conversation was overheard. When police confronted Rahim, he pulled a knife and was shot dead by officers.
Good riddance. And good thing Pamela’s case is getting the justice it deserves.
In the spirit of Muhammad drawings…
