Just when you think the culture has made some progress, we end up with stories like this.

According to a report from Reduxx, at least seven trans women—people believed to have been assigned male at birth—are playing women’s hockey in Minnesota. Subsequently, a woman felt she had no choice but to resign, as she protested this blatant denial of women’s rights.

According to Reduxx:

A female hockey player in Minnesota has resigned from her team in protest of policies which allowed four trans-identified males to be accepted onto the roster. In collaboration with HeCheated, Reduxx has learned that there are at least seven male players who identify as transgender playing on women’s hockey teams in Minnesota.

The reason these trans individuals feel so emboldened to participate in women’s sports may—or may not—have to do with the fact that they could never compete against men due to being failing athletes. I don’t know; that’s just my two cents. You can do the math.

In October 2021, USA Hockey incorporated a new policy allowing anyone to participate “according to the gender with which the athlete identifies.” The only requirement for a male to play in the women’s league is to self-identify and register as female with USA Hockey, the national governing body for the sport.

The logic here is hardly logical. They don’t care about biology, as the only requirement is a self-assertion. It’s truly astonishing how these people believe themselves to be on the compassionate side of history. Remarkable, yet deeply pathetic.

The policy instructs coaches and officials to “educate” themselves about “diversity” and to use the preferred names and pronouns of male players who identify as women. It also directs leaders to protect the identities of “transgender” players and to decline to disclose to other team members whether an individual is male or female. Perhaps most troubling, the policy also encourages staff to actively “confront” behaviors from other players that may be perceived as “discriminatory.”

These people do not care about being biologically or morally correct, as for them the highest altar of moral compassion is at the behest of diversity. As long as you can claim to include those who are confused about their gender, it no longer matters that you are excluding the majority of the players. Is this what the left means when they claim they are all in it for “progress”? Because I certainly think it is.

As previously reported by Sarah Barker of The Female Category, as of 2024 one A-level team had at least four male players competing with and against women, with two of those same players registered again on the 2025 – 2026 roster. The Robins apparently benefited from having male players, and secured a standing of second place in last year’s season in the A3 division.

That’s one team that has excluded four female players in order to include the gender-confused. Call me crazy, but in the pursuit of being so “inclusive,” they are more exclusive than anyone could have ever imagined. Weird how that works out.

I don’t have to tell you why this is so incredibly deranged, as it goes without saying. Nonetheless, trans women are and will always be men, and no policy will change that. Until then, we can only hope that more and more women speak out and protest against this, as that may very well be our only hope.
