The Mayor of Somalia… wait, oops… I meant the Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, is fooling no one as he pretends to devour a paper bowl full of what appears to be chewy grains and beans.

You know, nothing says “stick it to the Trump administration” like pretending to eat a bowl of unappetizing food by mixing it around with your spoon like that’s not the biggest trick in the book when you want to pretend to eat something.

Did he even swallow that food? How much would you bet he spat it out the moment the cameras turned off? And we can almost be certain he did not finish that paper bowl of grains. He fools nobody with this silly little stunt.

This dish in question is Ambulo, which consists of “azuki beans mixed with maize and sometimes wheat.”

You know, if this is such a popular Somali dish, and he lives in Minneapolis, you would think he would have tried it by now, considering how “deslish” it is. But something tells me he never tried it because it’s the most unappetizing-looking thing in the history of the world—and this is coming from someone who is a fan of most ethnic cuisines.

Now, compare this to American cuisine. There is no comparison. Trump should combat this video by trying actual good looking food.
