The most shocking thing about this is that the Minneapolis Chief of Police is a boring ass white dude. Being the progressive enclave Minneapolis is, you'd think the head of police would have to be a woman with a short haircut whose only qualification is equity. But no! It was Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara who told citizens to call the cops if and when ICE shows up.

Specifically, Somali "citizens." The ones tied to the massive one billion dollar fraud in the state. One billion in TAXPAYER dollars meant to help feed kids during the pandemic.

• 86 people charged in widespread Minnesota fraud schemes.
• 78 are Somali immigrants.
• 59 individuals convicted so far for participating in plots that stole roughly $1 billion from taxpayers across multiple programs.
• A nonprofit and its affiliates falsely claimed to have fed “tens of thousands” of children during the pandemic and were reimbursed with taxpayer funds— federal prosecutors say nearly all meals were never delivered.
• Leaders of the nonprofit allegedly spent taxpayer money on luxury homes, cars, and real estate in Turkey and Kenya.
• A second fraud scheme involved hundreds of organizations billing Minnesota for services meant to help people at risk of homelessness—services prosecutors say were never performed.

That's at least one side of the argument. On the other side, Somali migrants are a vital part of the fabric of Minneapolis, who pay their taxes.

Chief O'Hara played into the left-wing propaganda that "masked thugs" are kidnapping people off the street. He is talking about ICE agents who have to wear masks because the pro-illegal immigration left (aka the Democrat Party) threatens to dox and go after the families of any law enforcement officer enforcing immigration law.

“We have experienced reports in this city … where people call to say that there’s folks that are masked, that they’re not sure if they’re law enforcement, that they may be kidnapping people. ... The community should know that if you see something like that, that is legitimate, that you don’t know if someone is law enforcement, you should call 911, and you should provide as much information as possible.

Three guesses who was less than amused?

I guess we can give Chief O'Hara a little bit a credit. At least he spoke English as he was telling people to call the cops on ICE.
